We solve problems around the city with your help.

We are tackling the problem of responsable behaviour in a smart city. Everyday while we commute to work/while hanging around in the city , we come across many typical problems like dirty streets due to incorrect garbage disposal, potholes which are left open and street lights that are on during the day and many more.

Our idea is to create a simple app where the user can upload the picture of such problems and based on the phone's geolocation information is provided to the municipalities to optimize their cleaning services. For which the user is rewarded with vouchers that can be redeemed at local businesses.
Providing the municipality authorities with an easy interface by pointing the problems in the map and providing them with the fastest route to the location.

Our Solution

Our app enables you to upload a simple image regarding the problem.

Location

The picture along with user location is sent to the municipalities.

Clean-up

The municipality immediatly alerts the nearest workers to fix the problem at the earliest.

Re-Ward

The users are rewarded with vouchers for being responsible and helping the government.

Scope of our project

We believe that the “smartness” of the city relies on the “smartness” of the citizens .So we wanted to create an incentive-based service to encourage the behaviour of the citizens to minimize the harm to the environment by minimizing the energy use and reducing the waste by rewarding the committed users with vouchers that can be redeemed at local businesses..
